John Fineran has been passionate about technology since childhood. Growing up in Maryland, he was always experimenting with electronics, reimagining how things could work more efficiently. This early curiosity naturally led him to a career in information technology (IT) – where innovation and problem-solving are at the core of his work.

With over 25 years in the technology industry, John began his professional journey at a business Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Silver Spring, Maryland. As Executive Vice President of Operations & Sales, he played a pivotal role in constructing a state-of-the-art, Tier 3 data center and designing cutting-edge service packages for connectivity, hosting, and security.

After a decade of working with hundreds of businesses to enhance their telecommunications infrastructure, Mr. Fineran identified a gap in the market—a need for technology solutions that prioritized client experience. In response, he founded FinTel Communications, a Maryland-based firm dedicated to providing businesses with seamless website design, hosting, and IT solutions.

FinTel Communications has successfully served startups, nonprofits, restaurants, and Fortune 500 companies alike, including the University of Maryland, Sprint, New York Life, AlphaWave Networks, The Chief Storyteller, and many more. The company continues to be a trusted partner for organizations looking to streamline their digital operations.
