LOCATION: The Catholic University Softball Field at the Raymond A. Dufour Athletic Center
(4400 John McCormack Rd, NE, Washington, DC 20011)
DATE AND TIME: Saturday, October 21, 2023, 10:00am – 2:00pm
*In the case of rain, we will move the camp indoors. Please bring sneakers in case of a weather event*
COST: $200
CAMP DIRECTOR: Sophie Maccarone, Head Softball Coach (Sophie Mac Softball Camps, LLC.)
CAMP STAFF: Assistant Catholic University Coaches and Current Players
SKILLS CAMP: Participants will grow and learn in areas including: arm strength, hitting, pitching, catching, throwing and fielding during drill sessions. Participants will be able to practice various skills and positions while working with current players. During the end of the camp, we will do a tour of the athletic facilities for the campers!
Please Note: CLEATS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE ATHLETICS CENTER DURING THE TOUR.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: All players should clearly mark their personal equipment in advance of attending the camp and must provide their own softball glove, bat, helmet, gym shoes, cleats, and should wear any protective gear they deem necessary. Catchers must bring their own equipment.
