Mackense Greico is a dedicated and dynamic softball coach with a standout collegiate playing career and a growing track record of success in coaching roles. A former All-Conference selection at both Furman University and the University of Maryland, Greico posted career stats including a .300+ batting average, .990+ fielding percentage, 20+ home runs, and over 100 RBIs, demonstrating her versatility as a power-hitting infielder and reliable defensive presence.
Following her playing career, Greico transitioned into coaching, serving as a graduate assistant at Ole Miss, where she contributed to recruiting operations, practice execution, and athlete development. She has also coached with Maryland InteGRITy Softball and internationally with America’s Team in Barcelona, Spain, bringing a global perspective to athlete mentorship and skill development. She is passionate about empowering athletes through focused instruction and positive leadership.
Greico holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Classical Languages from the University of Maryland and a M.S. in Biology from the University of Mississippi.
