Sophie Maccarone
Sophie Maccarone will begin her first year as a graduate assistant coach at Catholic University while earning her Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Leadership. Last year, Sophie perused her Master of Science in Business while volunteering with the Catholic University softball team. Sophie was also the Catholic University softball Strength and Conditioning coach where she is ISSA Strength and Conditioning certified.
As a Cardinal, Sophie played third base, left field, and right field. Sophie started at third base her sophomore year, when then she moved to left field her junior and senior year at Catholic University.
Off the field, Sophie graduated with a bachelors in marketing and double minor in management and sports management in 2021. Sophie is passionate about sports and continues to work in operations at the Catholic University Dufour Athletic center, while having an internship with DC United and American University Athletics. Sophie is currently still working in Event Operations with DC United.
Sophie attended Haddonfield Memorial High School in Haddonfield, NJ. She played soccer, basketball, and softball for the duration of her high school career.
